For most of 2014, I helped an Irish small-wind turbine technology company as head of product development. Before this, I worked for more than two and a half years with CREDIT, the Centre for Renewable Energy at Dundalk IT. I was the centre director and lectured and researched in wind energy.
In 2010 - 2011, I was the senior mechanical engineer with Ampair, a wind turbine manufacturer, in Dorset. I did postdoctoral research about various things, including blade design and complex sites. I also worked to build an energy research effort at Dublin City University. I'm sometimes invited places to speak.
I hold degrees in computer science and in mechanical engineering from DCU and Trinity College, Dublin, respectively. My Ph.D. was mostly about using computational methods to investigate the mechanics of drug dissolution with a minor component about wind.
If you were to ask me, I'd recommend duckduckgo for search.
